What is E-Pay

E-Pay Punjab is the first government payment accumulator that was introduced to grow the pace of financial insertion among the citizens of Punjab.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Motor Transport Management Information System (MTMIS) of Punjab is a streamed platform launched by the Punjab Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department in Pakistan. How to pay vehicle token tax online in Punjab in easy way?

Download the e-Pay Punjab App:

  • If you don’t already have the app, it will download from the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS).

Login & Register:

  • Open the app and either log in (if you have created an account already) or register (if you’re a new user) using your private details.

Select the Service:

  • After logging in, you will get to see the list of services. Choose the “Token Tax for Vehicle” option.


  Search Vehicle Details:

  • Enter the vehicle registration number and other required details, such as the vehicle type (car, motorcycle, etc.), engine capacity, and other specifics. The app will bring the details of your vehicle from the system.

View the Tax Amount:

  • The app will show the display of an amount of token tax based on the vehicle’s category and specifications.

  Select Payment Method:

  • Select your preferred payment method (e.g., debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI).
  • Enter payment details as prompted by the app.

  Confirm and Pay:

  • After reviewing this details, click on “Pay Now” to proceed.
  • Once the payment is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation.

  Receipt:

  • After getting complete the payment, you will get an e-receipt for your token tax payment.
  • You can save or print this receipt for your personal records.

  Tax Sticker (Optional):

  • In some cases, you may need to get a tax sticker for your vehicle. The app will guide you if this step is necessary.

How to Transfer a Car in Punjab By Using ePay Punjab

⦁ First you have to download the ePay Punjab app on your iOS or Android device.
⦁ Open the app and press on “Excise and Taxation.”
⦁ Choose “Car Transfer”
⦁ Enter the vehicle’s registration number.
⦁ The app will run the necessary credentials, which is including the owner’s name, last paid token tax, and transfer fee.
⦁ Click on “Generate Challan” to get a unique PSID number to pay the transfer fee.
⦁It’s up to you pay the transfer fee through any online payment method.
⦁ A reference number will be generated.
⦁ The seller and buyer must provide biometric identification at their nearest NADRA offices using this reference number.
⦁ Once both parties have provided biometric identification, the car will be inspected at the Excise office.
⦁ Vehicle will be successfully transferred.
